Safe States Alliance Trainings & Events
Safe States Alliance provides a variety of trainings, events, and professional development programs that are designed to enhance members' proficiency in core competencies as described by the National Training Initative (NTI). These core competencies encompass essential knowledge and skills that are widely considered necessary to work in injury and violence prevention.
Through the Safe States Alliance, members are provided training in areas such as interpreting and presenting data, implementing and evaluting prevention activities, effectively communicating messages, and sustaining injury and violence prevention programs. Professional development programs are provided year-round through web-based trainings and during the Safe States Alliance Annual Meeting.
